The Hampshire Council of Governments, in partnership with Nexamp's Solarize My Bill Community Solar program, brings you a simple, no-cost way to lock in guaranteed long-term savings on your electric bills. Customers of National Grid and Eversource Energy are eligible to purchase net metering credits that they can apply to their utility bills to receive a discount on electricity.

For Residents, Small Businesses, and Non-Profits
Net metering credits can be purchased for $0.85 each. They are then applied as $1 credits towards your electricity bill, effectively giving you a 15% discount. There is no upfront cost or investment necessary and savings are guaranteed! In addition to offering consumers a much-needed discount, the net metering program incentivizes the development of additional solar generators in our state: contributing to a cleaner, brighter tomorrow.

For Large Businesses and Municipalities
If you’re a large-scale consumer, your incentive to take advantage of the net metering program is even greater. Purchasing in high volumes ensures huge savings after discounts are applied! National Grid and Eversource Energy customers can purchase credits at a rate of $0.8 and $0.85, respectively.
